Giving Back
I am passionate about education and even more passionate about children. This is why I donate $3 for every course that is purchased to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
I had the privilege of writing a song called, “Words Are Your Wheels” with Phil Vassar for a Walmart national literacy promotion. This song was a collaboration performance with several country superstars, including Kenny Chesney, Brooks & Dunn, Martina McBride, and Sara Evans.
Every year I hear that new schools are using our song for their read-a-thons or programs that promote reading. My heart soars every time I am sent a message or video with a sea of children singing this song. I am also a huge fan of the talented and sassy, Dolly Parton, who gives so much time and service to support people in need.
I chose Dolly Parton’s philanthropy called “Imagination Library” because I know it’s an amazing program. This is just a small way that I can contribute to a cause that means so much to my heart.
